Truman: STEAM Day

National STEAM Day, observed on November 8, is a nationwide celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics—fields that shape the future and fuel innovation. STEAM education equips students with essential skills like critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration, preparing them for success in school and the modern workforce. It also opens doors to high-demand, high-paying careers in STEM, while encouraging diversity and inclusion by inspiring students from all backgrounds to explore these dynamic fields. STEAM is more than academics—it’s about understanding how these disciplines connect to everyday life and drive technological and societal progress.

Join us on Thursday, November 13th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the cafeteria for our annual STEAM Day celebration! This exciting event will feature interactive exhibits, projects, and hands-on activities that highlight the real-world impact of STEAM.
