Four City Colleges of Chicago faculty members have been selected as inaugural Amazon Web Services (AWS) Machine Learning University Faculty Fellows for the 2026–2027 cohort.
As fellows, the following instructors will facilitate AI and machine learning instruction at City Colleges and support faculty in integrating these technologies into their teaching and research:

- Kennedy-King College Computer Information Systems Instructor Carolyn Duroseau
- Malcolm X College Mathematics Instructor Latoya Stampley
- Wilbur Wright College Computer Information Systems Instructor Gustavo Alatta
Earlier this year, City Colleges of Chicago was selected as a regional lead institution for AWS Machine Learning University and established the Midwest AI/Machine Learning Initiative Powered by AWS, bringing the cloud learning environment to faculty and their classrooms at no cost.
