A new program offered by Olive Harvey College designed for aspiring barbers who are still in high school. The program offers CPS early college students a chance to earn an associate and applied science degree. The program educate students on how to succeed in the industry, both as a barber and a business owner. Dr Kimberly Hollingsworth is the President of Olive Harvey College. This program was built with students in mind students who were eager to learn a skill, express their talent and begin building a future while they are still in high school. Federal statistics say employment for barbers and stylists will grow by about 7 to 10% over the next few years. The program begins in the spring semester.
