On Saturday, February 3, Dr. Brandon Nichols, Olive-Harvey College senior vice president, joined The Partnership’s CEO George Wright and Danny Marshall on their WVON show to discuss work-based learning opportunities available and more.
“Olive-Harvey College just doesn’t represent the college, it represents the community. It’s the same community that I grew-up in. I’ve been able to take advantage of serving the community I’m from. I love the college because it’s not just a job, it’s my home,” said Dr. Nichols.
“We are very intentional about ensuring we are meeting students where they are and breaking down barriers so Black and Brown students can access higher education seamlessly, ” said Dr. Nichols.
“When I saw Olive-Harvey’s facility, I said ‘who knew’ about all the amazing educational pathways available there,” said Wright.
“When you walk through that door at Olive-Harvey, it gives you the sense that you are with family. You are home,” added Dr. Nichols.
