Chicago – A mural honoring former Chicago Mayor Harold Washington was unveiled Thursday at the community college that bears his name. To mark the centennial of Harold Washington’s birth in 2022, the school commissioned artist Judith Mayer for the art. A total of 43 volunteers helped paint the mural, including Harold Washington College students, faculty members, staff, and administrative leaders.
